Austin Playhouse envisions a welcoming hub for artistic activity, utilized seven days a week. This will provide tremendous growth opportunities for Austin Playhouse and our partners in the arts.
Currently, Austin Playhouse employs over 100 local artists each season, including members of our celebrated Artistic Company. The Arts Center will significantly increase employment opportunities and help retain Austin's best artists.

Flexible...
Flexible classroom and studio spaces will allow us to expand on our educational outreach programming and offer artistic development for artists of all ages. The Arts Center will also provide opportunities to continue our Theatre for Youth programming to provide free field trip performances to students from Title I schools.
