She Was Here is a new play by local playwright Raul Garza (My HEB, Running Bear) that unfolds within the butter-colored walls of an old Austin house.

Amanda and Gabi are exploring their new home during the Covid lockdown when they find a hidden box, sparking a journey of connection. As they play a game to unearth forgotten treasures within the house, stories from the past reveal themselves. With humor and heart, the play explores the bonds between mothers and daughters, the strength of cultural identity, and the places that hold us.
