The Ghostlight Season is Here!
For the next three months, we will be producing exclusively virtually. After that, we’ll assess when it’s safe to resume live performances. We’re calling this virtual programming our “Ghostlight Season” in honor of the theatrical tradition of the ghost light that keeps stages bright while live performances are paused. We would love for you to join us for any or all of the plays, workshops, readings, and special events we have planned. We may continue to produce exclusively virtually for some time. We will start to incorporate live performances when safety criteria are met.
Ghostlight Season productions include Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins, Agatha Christie’s The Mysterious Affair at Styles, and Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol adapted by Bernadette Nason (who plays more than 30 characters!).
We also have many special events planned including our Postcards from Austin series featuring a wide variety of Austin artists and diverse voices, a reading of Age of Arousal by Linda Griffiths, workshops, a Halloween Happy Hour, Holiday Party, and more.
Last Spring, our programming was paused before season tickets went on sale. If you’d like to purchase a Ghostlight Season pass that includes access to all virtual productions and play readings, you may do so for $65 per household. (As everything is virtual only one season pass is needed per household).
Workshops and special events will need to be purchased separately.
